Facts about Revelation:

Revelation is the only book that proclaims a blessing over its readers.

90% of the book references Old Testament scripture.

Not a summary of the Bible.

Keep the context in mind.

It was written to the local church, for the local church, with an invitation to come into the presence of God.

Study Tips for Revelation:

It’s ok if there are things you don’t understand. God meets us where we are.

Don’t get caught up in prophecies and miss what God is doing.

Difference between truth and prophecy.

Truth, we should hold confidently with a closed hand.

Prophecy, we should be able to hold with an open hand because God’s ways are not our ways.
