BIBLE READING PLAN

Extra-Ordinary: Paul
SCRIPTURE REFERENCE:
1 Corinthians 9:24-27, 1 Corinthians 10:1-14, Colossians 3:23-24, Hebrews 12:1-2
THE BACKSTORY:
The Bible is full of figures of faith - ordinary people used by God to do extraordinary things! Through their stories, we learn that doing great things is not bound by our limitations but accomplished because of His omnipotence!
MINI-MESSAGE TAKE-AWAYS:
Salvation occurs when you conclude that you are separated from God because of your sins and no righteous act of good work can save you, so you repent and turn to Jesus to save you, and He becomes number one in your life.
If you're not dead, God's not done - but neither is the devil.
To be successful requires sacrifice and saying no to really good things in order to win at great things.
God prepared you for good works; He didn't save you for Heaven alone.
We are self-disciplined and sold out, not to earn salvation, but to show the gospel to a watching world.
Principle of Sequence - Whatever you put first in your life will directly impact everything else.
Jesus demands first place in our lives, He deserves it, and anything else will destroy us.
Jesus gives you power to say no to sin and yes to the Savior.
PRAYER POINTS:
Ask God for His help as you exercise self-discipline and strengthen your relationship with Him.
MINI-MESSAGE DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
Read 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 and 10:1-14.
What stands out to you about these passages?

This week, read and memorize Hebrews 12:1-2.
Exercise your self-discipline this week:
Set guardrails with your time and actions.
Pray, read, and reflect 15 minutes each day.
Connect with a fellow believer once a week and ask the following questions.
How is your time with God?
How are your relationships?
What are you struggling with?
What are you hiding?
