Read Galatians 3:15-22

Head

Paul is writing to the people in Galatia who are his opponents. He addresses them as brothers and sisters rather than addressing them as opponents because we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. Paul writes about Abraham and how he will have one descendent, Jesus Christ, who will change everything, even the Law! The Law was a legal agreement at this time and was made for the sake of our sins until Jesus died on the cross for our sins. God promised that the Holy Spirit would live in the hearts of believers. This gift of salvation comes with no strings attached for whoever believes and has faith in Jesus Christ.

Heart

Have you ever accepted a gift from someone? Maybe on your birthday? God gave a promise to us just like giving a gift. He did not just offer this gift to one person but to everyone who has lived and will ever live. God loved us so much that He gave His Only Son so our sins would be forgiven.

Hands

Tell a friend about the love of God and His gift that changed the world. Discuss with your family what this gift means to you.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for Your love and the gift You have given us. Please help me share Your love and the gift that comes with no strings attached. Amen.
