Read Galatians 4:1-7

Head

When today's passage of scripture was written, children would be heirs to their father’s possessions. This can still be true today! Being an heir means that everything the father has is given to the child when the father is gone. When Jesus died on the cross for our sins, we then were able to become children of God and we were no longer slaves to the world. If we place our faith in Jesus Christ and become sons and daughters of God, we become heirs to His promise. With God being our Heavenly Father, we can turn to Him with anything that is going on in our lives.

Heart

We can find comfort in being a child of God. He loves us just like a father loves their child and will do anything to protect and guide us. Whether it's the best or worst day, we can go to God and tell Him about it. He will be there with open arms. This is why God offers the invitation to have a relationship with Him. Nothing can change God's love for us and He wants us to experience that.

Hands

Think about a time when you felt the love of God. Tell a friend about the unconditional love of God and His promises! How can you show love to someone this week that reflects the love of God?

Prayer: Dear God, thank You for Your unconditional love for us. Thank You for protecting and guiding us just like a father would. Thank you for being there for our good, bad, and okay days. Amen.
