Read Luke 5-6

Head

In Luke 5, Jesus called Peter, James, and John to follow Him and become “fishers of men.” They trusted Jesus so much that they left everything to follow Him. In Luke 6, Jesus teaches us to love others—even those who are unkind. He says, “Love your enemies and do good to them.” Jesus shows us how to love everyone, no matter how they treat us.

Heart

Loving others, especially when it’s hard, can be tough. But Jesus loves us no matter what, and He wants us to love others in the same way. Just like Peter trusted Jesus, we can trust Him to help us love others. How can you show love from your heart today? Maybe by forgiving someone or showing kindness to someone who is having a rough day.

Hands

Following Jesus means looking more and more like Jesus and following His actions. Jesus didn’t just talk about love; He lived it. This week, think of one way you can show Christ to others through what you do. Maybe you can write an encouraging note to a friend or help a friend or sibling without being asked.

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for showing us how to love. Help us love others the way You do, even when it’s hard. Teach us to be kind, forgiving, and selfless like You. In Jesus' name, we pray - Amen.
