Read Galatians 2:15-21

Head 

In Galatians 2:15-21, Paul explains something very, very important! We cannot be right with God by doing everything perfectly or following a bunch of rules, but only by believing in Jesus Christ. When we believe in Jesus, we are made right with God because of His love and what He did for us on the cross!  

Heart

Sometimes, we might think that we have to be perfect or that we have to follow all the rules exactly to make God happy. While it’s important to listen and do what’s right, Paul teaches us that it’s our faith in Jesus and trust in Him that truly makes us close to God. When we are only concerned with following the rules, we are missing the point! The rules are there to help us make good choices and live lives that honor God, but the rules can’t save us! Only Jesus can save us! When we believe in Jesus, He changes our hearts. This means that we should still try to do good things, not because we think we must earn God's love, but because we already have it. Our good actions become a way to show our love for Jesus and others. It’s like saying, "Thank You" to God for His amazing love. Paul also says that our old way of trying to earn God’s love is gone. Now we live a new life through faith in Jesus. This new life is full of joy because we know Jesus is always with us! It is important to remember that we don’t have to be perfect to be loved by God! When we make mistakes, we can ask for forgiveness and trust that God still loves us!

Hands

So, let’s remember that we are made right with God through our faith in Jesus. Let’s live our lives with joy and confidence, knowing that God’s love is a gift that we don’t have to earn. Let’s share that with others, showing them the same love that God shows us!

Prayer: Dear God, thank You for loving us so much that You sent Jesus to save us. Help us to remember that we don’t need to be perfect to receive Your love! Show us how to live our new lives in a way that pleases You and helps others see Your love. Thank You for always being with us and helping us grow. In Jesus' name. Amen.
