Being Generous
Being generous means giving part of your financial resources to expand the kingdom of God. God is not looking to get something from us; rather, He wants something for us. He knows that the things we treasure also reveal the things that we worship with the allegiance of our heart.
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10 NIV
The Bible tells us that all we have belongs to God. When we give back a portion of the blessings He has given to us, we are part of His work on earth – igniting ministry around us and leaving a lasting legacy.
