What if you worry more than you worship? What if you harbor resentment and anger toward that person who hurt you? What if you give in to that temptation even when you know better? Are God's promises really true for the broken, the flawed, and the sinful? As human beings, we tend to perceive God through a false lens of extreme justice or extreme redemption, but He is neither out to get us nor unaffected by our sin. To truly understand God's character and how He responds to our shortcomings, we must look to the truths found in His word.
