So Will I

So Will I

Begin with two minutes of silence and stillness before God.

Majestic. What is something you think of when you hear the word majestic?

What about a sunset or sunrise, or a cloudless night sky with only the twinkling of the stars and the light of the moon shining? Majestic? Absolutely! Stunning. Breathtaking. Exquisite. We know the subject here, so most of us immediately start thinking about God's characteristics. There is no denying how majestic He is. Stunning. Breathtaking. Exquisite. Mightier than everything else.

One of my favorite worship songs is "So Will I," by Hillsong. The lyrics are so powerful and fill me with so much gratitude for God's greatness.

If the stars were made to worship, so will I
If the mountains bow in reverence, so will I
If the oceans roar Your greatness, so will I
For if everything exists to lift You high, so will I
If the wind goes where You send it, so will I
If the rocks cry out in silence, so will I
If the sum of all our praises still falls shy
Then we'll sing again a hundred billion times

Psalm 113 4-9 MSG

"God is higher than anything and anyone, outshining everything you can see in the skies. Who can compare with God, our God, so majestically enthroned, surveying His magnificent heavens and earth?"

How wonderful God is, and we must praise His greatness always. He sits high, but compassionately stoops low to care for His children. We must keep a thankful heart and look for the goodness in God's intentions for our lives in everything. Pray first. Trust in Him even when our little anxiety bug is buzzing around. Know that there is purpose in His plan, and be obedient and confident in God's power.

Jesus did.

So will I.

Take two minutes to reflect in silence.
